World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency project with ties to the TRUMP family, unveiled plans for a foreign exchange platform called World Swap during Consensus Hong Kong. Co-founder Zak Folkman positioned the product as part of the project's USD1 stablecoin ecosystem, targeting remittance fees ranging from 2% to 10%.

The announcement lacked technical specifics but signaled WLFI's expansion beyond stablecoins. Folkman promised detailed revelations at a future Mar-a-Lago event, leveraging the property's association with former President Donald Trump. The MOVE comes as crypto-native financial services increasingly challenge traditional forex providers.
